LONG CHOICE OF HUSBAND (PICK AND DROP OF SUITORS)
Another Reason Why Matured Girls Do Not Marry On Time

One of the reasons why matured girls marry late is Long Choice of Husband.
Choice means “selection”, “the power to choose”,”option”,”an alternative”, “a supply well chosen”, “care in choosing”.
These attitudes of some girls make them pick and drop suitors. They tend to test as many suitors as possible in the name of “I want to marry him”. The selection that goes on between some girls and their would-be husbands lasts for as many years as possible. These girls in question have the power to choose, but delay settling down with any suitor. From their apartments they escort Mr. A today and tomorrow they escort Mr.B.Next tomorrow it is Mr. C and so on.
Due to this behavior, some of the girls form different men as options for themselves. They have the liberty to go out with any man at any given time all in the name of being fiancés to all of them. This is because some of those girls have a supply of men at her disposal. After moving from one man to another, they seem to be careful in choosing a suitor for marriage, but end up not settling down with any of them. Then they have alternative men that make them weak to choose from. At this point, confusion sets in.
The choice becomes hard for them. Those whom they jilted, leave them to marry other younger girls who are seriously stable .Remember, young girls are growing up every day.
These senior girls due to frequent sexual activities with different men commit abortion from time to time. When these girls open their mouths, the stories they tell concerning their overtures and consequences following their actions, raise cold shivers on the listeners. Long choice of husbands seriously makes girls to marry late. The following story buttresses the fact that Long choice of husband make girls to marry late.
”In 2001, Mary just got a job in a company after her school certificate examinations. Then she was twenty one years old. Mary was in love with Mr. Peter who found the job for her .At a time she requested money from Mr. Peter, but the young man had no money to give her. She had promised to marry Peter, but due to Peter’s inability to give her the money, Mary switched over to Mr.Reuben, who borrowed money from his master to pay at month end when salary will be paid to him.
Mary dumped Peter and was going out with Mr. Reuben. She had no remembrance of all the helps rendered to her by Mr. Peter during the time she was desperately in need of a job. One day Mr. Reuben saw his bosom girlfriend when he was in secondary school. He decided to bring her to his apartment. When Mary saw the girl, she was indignant. She brought all sorts of accusations to Mr.Reuben.Within two days; Mary pulled out her belongings from Mr. Reuben’s apartment and went back to her rented apartment.
Mary was alone for about six months. Sometime on the seventh month, she was invited to her friend’s traditional wedding. Mary was called aside by one Comrade Isaac. The man was tall and looked like a trader. Mary asked the man what he does and where he lived. Comrade Isaac told Mary that he teaches at a Primary School nearby the venue of the traditional marriage. Mary thought that Comrade Isaac told her the truth. Within days Mary went to the Primary school looking for Comrade Isaac, but one female teacher embarrassed her. She came home dejected. One evening that same week, Comrade Isaac came to see Mary. She chose to take the man into her apartment. She cooked for Comrade Isaac and they slept together in Mary’s apartment that evening. In the next morning, Mary went to work a bit late after all her fellow workers have begun the days work. Mr.Reuben saw her with her new catch and said,”Mary,Is this one your lucky star?”.Mary answered, “Every season has its own story”. So the whole workers nicknamed Mary, “every season has its own story”.
Mary left Comrade Isaac and switched over to Mr. Gerald who returned from London after studies in a University. Mary’s frequent visits to Mr. Gerald’s family attracted the wrath of Gerald’s mother. Gerald's mother spoke to Mary openly that her son Gerald cannot marry Mary because she was now old and jumped from one man to the other as she gathered from nearby friends of hers. She was also rejected because she was not a graduate.Mr.Gerald’s relations encouraged him to marry a graduate nurse instead. That Mr. Gerald did, leaving Mary to hit the streets again looking for men she could hook for marriage.
She continued on this behavior until she was about fourty one years old. As at the time of writing this blog, Mary has not gotten a permanent man for marriage.
